Global Action for Earth Network (GAEN) is the brainchild of a group of climate enthusiasts in Ghana to address the issues of desertification, deforestation, climate change, drought, and flood, which culminate in poverty, hunger, diseases, and loss of lives, livelihoods, and properties. It is evident that the maintenance of a sustainable relationship between living organisms and the environment does not lie in one individual capacity but lies in the collective effort of all groups, institutions, communities, nations, and the world as a whole. It is based on this reason that GAEN was established: to sensitize, build capacities, and undertake community need-based projects in order to address the abovementioned issues, which are so rampant in this part of our world.
